ABOUT ME
Integrated Ph.D. Student in Physical Science IISc Bengaluru
I am an Integrated Ph.D. student at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, interested in theoretical and computational physics, numerical modeling, and scientific computing. My research focuses on magnetic confinement fusion, particularly turbulence and transport in tokamak plasmas.
My current work involves global gyrokinetic simulations of ion-temperature-gradient (ITG) turbulence, studying how positive and negative triangularity affect plasma confinement and turbulent transport. Using the G2C3 simulation framework, I investigate plasma fluctuations, spectral characteristics, and ion heat transport, with applications to the Divertor Tokamak Test (DTT).
Beyond plasma physics, I am exploring hybrid quantum-classical machine learning for scientific computing, including quantum neural network approaches to computationally intensive components of particle-in-cell (PIC) simulations.
